Doing that I had the error of the custom res refused by the system: this is because I was trying to add a custom res higher than the display seemed to be for my OS. I was adding my custom res 3840x2160 while being on 1920x1080 while using the screen.

The first problem I encountered: I tried to use SwitchResX to add my custom resolution in order to activate HiDPI/scaling, to have the 1920x UI with the 3840x resolution.

My issue: at first I only had the max resolution available 3840x2160 with a small interface that made it unusable and the resolution 1920x1080 which wasn't clean on the eyes.
